Other Spring Wildlife

Here are some more wildlife shots from Warm Springs Bay this spring.

We watched a bald eagle try to nail a female goldeneye for close to ten minutes one day.

She persevered, diving each time the eagle swooped in, and eventually the eagle gave up, leaving the her to catch her breath, put on a new pair of underwear, and be joined by two other goldeneyes who appeared, now that the coast was clear.

Jack, the belted kingfisher, sounding off.

This river otter is showing off the herring he just caught by the dock.
